How do I find my computer name?

Your computer name is needed when submitting a support ticket so we can connect to your machine remotely.
🖥️ Method 1: Settings (Easiest)
- Click Start → Settings → System → About
- Your computer name is listed under Device name
System > About
Device name

Settings → System → About shows your device name
⌨️ Method 2: Command Prompt
- Press Windows, type cmd, press Enter
- Type hostname and press Enter
- Your computer name will be displayed
C:\Users\jsmith> hostname
