How do I map a network drive?

Mapping a network drive gives you quick access to shared folders on your organization's server.

📁 Steps

  1. Open File Explorer (Win+E)
  2. Click ... (three dots) in the toolbar → Map network drive
  3. Choose a drive letter (e.g., Z:)
  4. In the Folder field, enter the path your IT team provided
  5. Check Reconnect at sign-in
  6. Click Finish

🔧 Troubleshooting

"Windows cannot access" error?
Make sure you're connected to the VPN if working remotely.

Drive disappears after restart?
Re-map and make sure "Reconnect at sign-in" is checked.
